Kelsey has been teaching singers for over 13 years. Her varied teaching style pulls from her experience as a classically trained singer, choir director, music director for theatre programs, and more! Kelsey has a unique understanding of the demands on singers in the constantly changing world of music. She helps provide the necessary technical training for a healthy, flexible voice while also offering the essential emotional support that creates a safe space for singers to be vulnerable and experience true growth!
Kelsey holds a BA in Vocal Performance as well as a BA in Music Education from Whitworth University. In addition to teaching private voice, Kelsey taught choir in public and private schools for over 7 years, directed various levels of the Seattle Children’s Chorus, and was music director for multiple theatre productions. Kelsey currently teaches from her home in Lake Stevens, WA, and sings with professional choral ensembles in the greater Seattle area.
